What is Construction Specifications?
Our design specification guide allows you to select the exact fabrics, counter tops, flooring, lighting, cabinets, etc… for your home. Our team will guide you through the process. We will meet with you and the builder for a walk through after your initial selection process and make sure your wants are understood and can be met.
Although there are many quality, custom home builders who do a remarkable job. Finding the right builder can be a very difficult process. As you may know, the construction process, in general comes with its own set of challenges, even when you have the right builder.
Most Builders are great tradesmen, but most are not masters at creating an integrated design plan that includes a floor plan with the style, textiles, hard surfaces and functional rooms that make a home a personal sanctuary.
Our team understands how to best use these elements and ensure they work together seamlessly in order to customize your home.
It is recommended that you meet with a designer prior to the building process to express all concerns and ideas from past home experiences you enjoyed, and others you don't want to happen again. We will create and provide a design specification guide that allows you to customize the details of your home so that it truly reflects your personality.

Our fee for new construction specifications starts at $8 and up per square foot, depending on the scope of your project.
Upon approval, we then proceed to the fun stuff! Presenting materials, finishes, plumbing & electrical fixtures, appliances, hardware, furniture, and fabric. Throughout this process, modifications can be made by the Builder, Architect, or myself the Interior Designer to finalize construction documents that fit your personal budget.
